Is free advice really free?

Our initial advice and first meeting is free, so should you suspect a catch?

No, there’s no catch.

We want you to get around to addressing the very important matter of getting your estate plans in order. We’ll answer your questions and help you through the process of making a Will, without bombarding you with legal jargon. Fewer than 50% of people in the UK have made a valid Will when they die. We see the distress and worry this causes to grieving families.

We want you to have a Will in place, and you can’t do that without answers and advice.

That’s why our guidance is free.

Putting it off

Although we all know that we should have a Will to make sure our family are protected, it’s easy to prioritise changing the family car, updating tired home furnishings or taking a holiday when deciding how to spend disposable income.

Have you been putting off making your Will because:

  • You worry that it will be expensive

  • Your children have fallen out with each other

  • You’re separated or divorcing

  • You work shifts so daytime, weekday appointments are difficult

  • You worry that you won’t know the cost before you sign up

  • You don’t want to feel pressured

  • You’ve fallen out with a family member

  • You’ve had a poor experience with a traditional law firm

  • You think making a Will is something you do when you’re old

  • You don’t like thinking about death

  • You can’t decide who to appoint as guardians or executors

Finding out how simple it is to protect what’s most important to you and keep them safe for your family is often an unexpected and pleasant surprise for our clients.

It takes less than an hour.

You don’t have to have all the answers, and we can give you options.

There’s always a solution. However tricky the situation may seem.

We all hope we live to be 100… but we might not. Better to plan now.

Most people only make one Will in their lifetime, and it’s possible to plan for events that haven’t yet happened (like having children or moving house).

Still not convinced?

Free advice

Our advice is always easy to understand. Our fees are fixed, published on our website. We never use hard-sell tactics. Your consultant will explain your options, but the choice to move forward is yours. Of course, we want you to take action. We see the pain that families face when a loved one hasn’t made plans in time - the uncertainty and arguments that follow.
